This unique winged panel has been designed for applications that require ambient warmth at minimal cost and has been engineered for efficiency, safety and longetivity, employing the latest technology and incorporating the most advanced water repelling impregnation to resist humidity throughout its entire lifetime. Insulation of the heating element and its ability to withstand thermal movement are provided by a special element encapsulating flexible resin. The Eccopanel can be safely used in domestic, commercial and industrial applications for unlimited periods of time.
Eccopanels feature top and bottom wing extensions (patent pending) incorporated to prevent a fire hazard, should the panel be accidentally covered. This feature is exclusive to Eccopanel wall heaters.

Benefits
This latest panel technology has been designed to give long periods of warmth at minium cost with health and safety in mind.
ECONOMY: As it is virtually impossible to over heat a standard type room, panels can be left on for days at a time in long cold winter periods. Only drawing 420 Watts it costs approx 8 cents an hour (based on SA KW/hr 18.9c) to heat a 12-14 sq metre room.
SAFETY: As 90% of heat convectionally rises from the back of the panel and only having limited radiant heat emitted from the front, it is safe to have furniture and clothing 50mm from the face of the panel.
If the panel is touched momentarily, it will only cause discomfort not traumatic burning, making them ideal for bedrooms especially children's, senior citizens small living area's, pets and dog kennels. The panels are moisture proofed during manufacture and being non-hygroscopic, can be installed in bathrooms subject to compliance with local positioning regulations. Please refer to Installation Instructions that are supplied with heating panel prior to actual installation.
HEALTH:
Not being a fan forced heater, the panels do not blow and circulate dust or allergens that can cause problems with asthma or bronchial sufferers. The convectional air movement generated by the panels is not strong enough to stir dust particles. Additionally, the panels do not dry out the air like some gas fired or electric exposed element heaters. Mould growth in rooms that get no sun, can be relieved of the problem by installing a panel and leaving it on for several days. The panels just provide gentle ambient warmth.
DECORATIVE:
The panel can be painted to either match or contrast your room’s decor. Or, panels can be artistically decorated. It is recommended that water-based, odour free, acrylic paint should be used. However it is recommended leaving the panel turned off for 24 hours after painting.
